Calling all heroes. U are needed in Baja. Over 20,000 families need housing. Schools need additional educational space. People need access to health programs. Families need to experience the love of Christ.  With hundreds of volunteers coming each year, our SummerServers make everything happen.

We won’t lie. It’s hard work. You will get up earlier and go to bed later than most trip participants. You’ll be pushed to your limits: physically, mentally, and spiritually. You’ll be stretched further than you thought you could be. You’ll be exhausted, uncomfortable and expected to do things you thought were beyond your capability.

You’ll also have more fun and build deeper relationships than you’d expect. You’ll build skills and make memories that will last a lifetime. For more information check our FAQ page.

  • June Internship Schedule: June 1-24

    • June 1:  Arrival and Orientation
    • June 2-8: Expedition:Baja 1 (house builds, outreaches and more)
    • June 9-15: Expedition:Baja 2 (house builds, outreaches and more)
    • June 16-22: Expedition:Baja 3 (house builds, outreaches and more)
    • June 23- July 13: Off weeks (Return home)
  • July Schedule; July 9-29

    • July 14-20: Expedition:Baja 4 (house builds, outreaches and more)
    • July 21-27: Expedition:Baja 5 (house builds, outreaches and more)
    • July 28-Aug 3: Expedition:Baja 6 (house builds, outreaches and more)
    • July 3: Go home (Unless you are serving at summer camps)
  • June Internship Cost: $1000 (from San Diego)

    • The cost includes: Transportation from San Diego, Housing, Food, Insurance (health, liability and evacuation), leadership, 4 shirts, personal tools.
    • Flexibility: If you can’t make the whole summer, the price would be $300/week plus $200. (Minimum of 2 weeks)
    • Deposit: A $200 deposit holds your spot. Space is limited.
  • Combined Cost: $1500

    • The cost includes: Transportation from San Diego, Housing, Food, Insurance (health, liability and evacuation), leadership, 4 shirts, personal tools.
    • Flexibility: If you can’t make the whole summer, the price would be $300/week plus $200. (Minimum of 2 weeks)
    • Deposit: A $200 deposit holds your spot. Space is limited.
    • The program is 2 separate internships. 3 weeks in June, 3 weeks in July.
  • Application process:

    1. Complete and Submit the SummerServe Application
    2. Interest Interview Phone Call (Minors need at least 1 parent on the call)
    3. Send $200 deposit within 2 weeks of acceptance
    4. Send additional $1000 by May 1st
    5. Send Remaining $300 before arrival
